I am a life-long resident of Lexington, Ohio, and a 4 th generation graduate of Lexington High School. I
grew up in the footstep of my grandfather who was a local Insurance Agent and Auctioneer for 30 years. I
enjoy meeting people and working with complex situations, hence Real Estate was a natural career
choice for me. With an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from North Central State College
and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, I became a
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, State of Ohio, in 1997. I obtained my Graduate of REALTOR Institute
(GRI) designation soon thereafter, which is the most recognized REALTOR designation. GRI represents
that I have made the commitment to provide a high level of professional service to my clients by securing
a strong educational foundation. I also completed the Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE) and previously
held Accredited Staging Professional (ASP).
Currently, I am the Mansfield Association of REALTORS (MAR) Board President and have served and
chaired many committees over the years. As an example of my commitment of my community I proudly
serve as a Vice President of Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Richland/Crawford counties
chairing ReStore, Construction, Real Estate and Technology committees. I also serve on the Board of
Directors for Richland County Transit.
My husband Jeffrey Shook is retired from Mansfield Police Department, worked with the Ohio Internet
Crimes Against Children Taskforce and is currently Chief of Police, New Washington, Ohio. He is a 1982
graduate of Ontario High School and a former US Marine. I have a 23 year old son and a daughter who
is a 2018 Freshman at the University of Cincinnati. My oldest stepson currently serves in the US Navy. I
am a lover of all animals; with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I enjoy traveling, junking and riding our Harley when
weather permits.
