Born in Central Ohio, I continue to live and work here today. My childhood was spent at my grandparent’s home in the countryside, where my fondest memories remain. Summers were spent catching fish, roasting hogs, cutting up logs and playing in the woods and dirt while riding four wheeled all terrain vehicles.
Shortly after graduating high school, I transplanted myself in sunny Sarasota, Florida where I landed myself my first job (outside of spending summers as a farmhand) in retail. It was a valuable learning experience for me where I discovered I enjoy working with people. This was the first time I started to take an interest in real estate. After all, it was a hot topic of conversation during 2007 and 2008.
In less than three year’s time my transient venture would come to an end. Due to an illness in the family, I decided to move back home to Ohio. I found myself working for my grandfather’s construction company. Day in and day out I would operate shovels and pick axes, turn wrenches and grease machinery, trying to keep pace with the old man who taught me about what’s important in life. We spent the next few years traveling from jobsite to jobsite in Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina and Eventually Washington. After my grandfather’s retirement I decided to go my own way and learned the trade of welding. I would spend the next five years welding and pipefitting, developing a passion for metal fabrication, as well as starting a tire sales business.
During that time I noticed the real estate market in Columbus was beginning to make a recovery, and I saw an opportunity to join a thriving industry. Joining the Capitol Ohio sales team has given me the knowledge needed to be the best consultant possible for my clients. Whether you’re looking to buy or sell, I take great pride in putting your needs above all others and making your real estate transaction about you.
